Flashback Who's That???

Life for the indie artist isnt always an easy road.  Four CD's to her credit, Vivian Green came on to the music scene signed to Columbia Records In 2002, Green released her debut album, A Love Story, which featured the number one single "Emotional Rollercoaster". In the meantime, Green made a cameo appearance in the Cole Porter biopic De-Lovely singing a cover version of Porter's 1930 song "Love for Sale", which made the film's soundtrack album. She also played Brenda Holloway in an episode of the first season of NBC's drama series American Dreams, entitled "The Carpetbaggers" (originally aired on April 6, 2003), performing a rendition of Holloway's 1964 hit "Every Little Bit Hurts".

Between her first & second albums, she took a 3-year hiatus. In 2004, she gave birth to her son "Jordan". Vivian is now a full-time advocate for special needs children, publicly speaking about her experiences.

Today Green tours extensively singing her songs and telling her stories.  Her 2002 debut remains a music staple addressing love, life and heartbreak.

When I look At You ...

Yum Yum ... What a 'Lovely Day'

Different rules Apply ...

Whether is being popped for drugs, being susoended from Tennis or posing nude Martina Hingis always seems to bounce back, hmm wonder if the same love would be applied, say if all those things happened to the Williams Sisters.  Hingis and Sania Mirza got back on track after their early loss in Stuttgart, cruising through their first match of the Premier Mandatory-level Mutua Madrid Open in an hour.

After winning their first three tournaments together - Indian Wells, Miami, Charleston - Hingis and Mirza had a low in Stuttgart two weeks ago, crashing out in the first round. But the No 1-seeded Swiss-Indian duo got back on track in Madrid on Tuesday, breaking serve five times and reeling off the last eight points of the match to beat Janette Husarova and Raluca Olaru in exactly 60 minutes, 6-2, 6-3.

Hingis and Mirza are now a very impressive 15-1 together since first joining forces in March.
