Straight Outta Compton ...
It's not Detox, but at least it's something.Dr. Dre will release a new album this week — his first since 1999's 2001, the rapper/producer announced on his Beats 1 radio show The Pharmacy Saturday.
Compton: A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre is out Friday exclusively on iTunes' Apple Music subscription streaming service. The new music is inspired by his work on music biopic Straight Outta Compton, out Aug. 14, which tracks his rise with Ice Cube and the late Eazy-E as part of rap group N.W.A.
