I'm Just Saying...
The rise of Chris Brown and the fall of Rihanna. Brown made his rightful emotionally charged tribute to Michael Jackson, as only he could. This performance had a lot riding on it for Brown and he truly delivered. I think he's learned him lesson and I'm so happy that BET did the right thing and let him honor Michael as only he could. Rihanna was caught smoking weed and trashing her hotel room in Barbados. Maybe she got word that Breezy was about to get it poppin.
BET really did a great job this year....I was so pissed at them last year for their trifling job of a show especially when they said it was in honor of MJ. This time they got it right Queen Latifah was engaging AND comical, the Prince tribute was deserving, El DeBarge was in excellent voice, Usher, Alicia Keys, Ludacris, Drake, Kanye West, T.I.,Eminem And Monica with Deniece Williams was all exceptional. Couple side notes Kirk Franklin PUT the microphone down, do not EVER try to sing again, and Trey Songz I STILL do not get the hype of him nor Nicki Minaj, but anyhoo Congrats to Stephen Hill and Debra Lee, redemption is a beautiful thing.
Mel Gibson and his baby money are going at it, both of them claiming that they other beat them. When white trash crash, the really crash and burn. Who cares about Mel and his jump off. He's no longer relevant. So let's Keep it Moving...I'm Just Saying..
Madea gurdle just snapped....Some incredible DRAMA is breaking out. It all started last SUNDAY when Aaron McGruder's popular animated series THE BOOKDOCKS did a sketch lampooning Tyler Perry.
The shpw painted Tyler as a GAY MAN who lives a very OVER THE TOP lifestyle - where he brazenly sexually harasses male actors.
Well ... word is that after Tyler saw the show, he FIRED his entire staff. It's because he felt that someone gave up some of his INSIDE SECRETS!!! C'mon Tyler WHAT secret, you put on a dress, you wear wigs, and you enjoy it....it's NOT rocket science bruh, we KNOW your get down. Congrats to Aaron that show was funny as hell.
NY Post has reported that singer Beyonce hasn'tt spoken to her father IN MONTHS . . . ever since he got his JUMPOFF PREGNANT!!! Here's what they're saying:
Beyonce Knowles is still refusing to speak to her dad and manager, Matthew Knowles, after he fathered a love child with a woman 20 years his junior -- and suits at her record label fear the rift could damage her career.
But one music industry insider said, "Beyonce was horrified to find out her dad cheated on her mom. She always looked up to him, and she is very close to her mom, so this has hit her really hard. She is refusing to speak to him, which is making things difficult where it comes to managing her career. Some people at Columbia now think it would be better to move him aside. Hmm I for one could use a break for Bey' she is too heavily saturated EVERY damn where, go away girl, so I can miss you, then come back. I'm Just Saying...
Shaq has a new girlfriend now that he's single and she's MUCH prettier than gold digger Shaunie.
Has been wtf Busta Rhymes and a female associate The crowd, which included Flo Rida, Drake, Ne-Yo, members of Young Money, Busta Rhymes, Vanessa and Angela Simmons, Brandy, Ray J, producers Cool & Dre, Hitboy of Surf Club, Pricetag of Audio Push, “Toot It And Boot It” rapper YG and Rodney Jerkins, danced to a mixture of Michael Jackson classics and new and old hits from Kanye West, Notorious B.I.G and Drake spun by DJ M.O.S. By 10:30 the event was nearly at capacity with partygoers filling up all three of the restaurants rooms. But shortly after midnight the festivities turned sour when shouts broke out, glass started flying and attendees quickly made for both the front and back exits.
“One of Busta’s girls was trippin’ I guess because he was with another girl,” “She started yellin’ at him and he was yellin’ back and she threw a drink at him. Then she fell.” Goes to show you that you can't take some blacks ANYWHERE!!
Dwyane Wade’s drama-filled eight-year marriage to high school sweetheart Siohvaughn Wade has finally and officially ended.
However, custody proceedings involving their two young boys have yet to be settled

great stuff Kevin, you mustve had a great weekend, you had lots to report. very nice.
ReplyDeleteChris Brown easily the Best performance of the night PERIOD!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh and Patti was great as well, lol
Chris Brown is an entertainer and his performance was crazy entertaining. If you want to buy his album or support him in anyway, you will. Chris Brown deserved a proper moment on the BET Awards especially in celebration of Michael Jackson. His tears were so damn natural…. u try being hated last year and then super loved the next.
ReplyDeleteI'm sick of Alicia Keys lesbian fake ass, she's not that great of a singer, a great piano player but that's about it. Give me Whitney, Beyonce, Mary, Kim Burrell, Monica, Lauryn Hill and Keisha Cole all day everyday.
ReplyDeleteLisa
Hands down, Chris Brown’s Tribute was simply amazing! He hit every move like Mike, he truly did leave his heart on the stage. But to keep it real, he is still a bitch ass women beating fag. But damn can he dance!
ReplyDeletePrince is still a sexy muthafucker, He could get it from me ANY time. Who is that Jonae Monae girl, she looked crazy as hell, get her off the stage.
ReplyDeletelol damn. and i agree he can sure dance.
ReplyDeleteMichael would have loved this. and you can see that Chris is hungry. So he’s fighting. I see how some may think his tears were all part of the plan but i’m sure he knew there would be people saying “that was fake” idk. i think he just got caught up with emotions because truth be told, he should have been part of the tributes last year… anyway, great performance. that boy can dance!
ReplyDeletewhy would Tyler Perry get upset with the his staff for the Boondocks spoof. We all know that he's super HOMO....after all he wears a dress!
ReplyDeleteDavid
@ David
ReplyDeleteprecisely. thats why he got choked up. plus the song is emotional. then on top of that its MJ!
epic performance!
Dewayne Wade is in for trouble with Gabrielle Union she's an opportunist, if I were him I'd stick with the ex-wife.
ReplyDeleteChris Brown has redeemed himself with me. My biggest gripe with him has always been that he really didn’t take responsibility for what he did and that his punishment wasn’t harsh enough. But his break down last night was the first and most realest apology that he’s ever offered during this entire situation. No, he didn’t verbally say sorry, but his art is how expresses himself and last night I got a 100% real and genuine expression of sorrow from him. I can tell that the backlash of this incident has humbled him out and opened his eyes to reality. Some of his fans are still absolutely nuts, but after seeing his performance I’m ready to forgive him. I honestly believe that he understands the significance of his mistake, is owning up to it and is really sorry. Hopefully he’ll take it to the next level and educate his fans a little more about the seriousness of domestic violence and that it shouldn’t be tolerated at all.
ReplyDeleteOMG I loved it when Nia Long and Larenz Tate took to the stage. Love Jones is my all time favorite movie.
ReplyDeleteRihanna getting popped with Mijuana doesn't surprise me, ppl give her a pass for some reason, she's a troubled little misfit.
this young man is one of the best performers that we have today, hands down
ReplyDeleteGood performance, this won’t change anything though. Nice pr move though : )
ReplyDeleteMelvin
@Melvin - In the past everyone was like oh he’s heartless he has no emtions..now he shows it and its a PR move? STFU
ReplyDeleteDanielle
Tyler Perry and Alicia Keys should switch roles then life will be as it should be, they would both be happy.
ReplyDeleteStephanie
okay, Chris is still a young man and was even younger when that happened. I honestly think his relationship with Rhianna may have been his first real intense relationship to begin with. Add to that that he grew up seeing his mother get beat, so naturally he did what he was taught when things went bad. It’s not right, but it’s what happens, that’s how men start abusing girlfriends, because it’s what they have seen. And then he was too young and too immature to know anything else. The good thing in all is that he got exposed to the world for what he did to her at a young age. I pray with all my heart that “early detection” and public humiliation will be a jump off to him healing from his childhood trauma and allow him to get the help and support he needs to grow up and mature beyond that behavior. Will I condone what he did….Hell no. Will I forgive him and give him a chance to prove he can do better…Hell yeah!!!!! That boy is talented and he could be a force in the industry if he is really sorry and steps up to the plate to do better and set better examples. We need to be an example to and for him also, though. Why is it wrong to forgive? I truly believes he sees the error of his ways and wants to do better. Do we really want to snuff someone life and career out because of bad decision at age 21? Damn , if that were the case a whole lot of us would be screwed for what we did in high school and college, think about your skeletons. His Mj tribute was heartfelt, in case you couldn’t tell, he loved MJ and learned all his video choreography before he even 8 years old. He met MJ and talked to him many times on the phone. It was Chris, not Usher, not Justin Timberlake that MJ really thought was the next big star and called Chris to tell him so personally. Chris had genuine affection for Mike, unlike alot of others who came out with all their “love” only after he died. His tribute was beautiful and REAL!!!! I have to admit, I steal can’t really get through Man in the Mirror myself without a tear dropping, that is the one song that still gets to me. it was the epitome of who and what Michael was to this world.
ReplyDeleteCameron
Trey Songz can't sing, whats the hype of him? I agree with you Kev'. He is phine as hell though.LOL Jus Saying bruh could get it in any time.
ReplyDeleteFuck Rihanna she knows the truth
ReplyDeleteIt’s actually one of the fakest crying jags I’ve seen. He was just fine dancing around in awkward repetition of Jackson’s most famous (and most aped) moves. Then two lines into the song he loses his shit? And before it even gets to the real meat of the lyrics? Clearly the guy doesn’t know how to build into an emotional moment, let alone sell it.
ReplyDeleteMel Gibson is racist why would you expect anything less from him? Yes I could see him beating woman easily.
ReplyDeleteChris Brown definitely owned that performance but what troubles me is that I feel this “crying” is an act to make people think that he’s matured and that he’s also capable of having a “heart”.
ReplyDeleteYou have to remember that CB is signed to a major label and anything they can do for image recovery can only be beneficial for their own success.
Black women are so gullable, it’s sad. BET is a joke. He was crying for the money and respect he lost. Not because he is sorry. He is pathetic but, you all forgave him a long time ago. He is ***** to me. Everytime I feel sorry for him I read the police report of the “incident
ReplyDeletebusta rhymes has a girlfriend really? why was he @ the BET awards? he's old and fat. I dont get it.
ReplyDeletesmells lke a comeback to me for Chris fine ass Brown.
ReplyDeleteI watched Chris Brown’s Performance…..
ReplyDeleteIt was so Staged and FAKE I’m sorry.
Yes Chris Brown can dance. He can dance very well. That was a good performance I will not lie. But the end part was so FAKE. What has Chris Brown been through???? Chris Brown has not even spent any real time in Jail for what he did which was almost KILL a Woman.
This man has not spent any time at any Women’s Shelters. It’s funny how some Black people take a performance and forgive anything.
NO. Chris Brown is still the same Woman Beating Felon he was. It’s offensive that he used Michael Jackson in this sense.
GROSS!
i must be sincere most of these Chris Haters are Muslims because its only Muslims that judge when some thing or a mistake is been made by somebody if they are Christians, Christianity stand for forgiveness. by the way forgiveness for what? who knows Chris was right or wrong?
ReplyDeleteGood Job Chris screw the haters
ReplyDeleteWhere was Stephanie Mills for Prince tribute. she can sing her ass off, like Patti.
ReplyDeleteEl Debarge was esquisite. Lovely
ReplyDeleteEl Debarge so pretty, and the voice was in excellent form.
ReplyDeleteI want T.I. that's the boo. What was up with Usher so subdued.
ReplyDeleteQueen Latifah was a great host and I think she came out last night on the show. That's just my opinion.
ReplyDeleteYes. I think he truly meant it. When I saw it it brought me to tears because I felt like Chris was truly sorry this time & wants to be a better person. He went to his fans & truly asked for forgiveness. We forgive you Chris.
ReplyDeleteget up on nickie minaj if gaga can have a place...then let's honor Nicki she's gimmick true but I like what I see.
ReplyDeleteEverybody deserves a second chance, it is time 2 let him move on with his life. It was a year ago, clearly Rihanna has moved on and might I add to the next man. For someone who was so distraught and hurt, it didn’t take her long to jump into another relastionship. Chris should have done this tribute last year, but we all know that Jay-Z had something 2 do with him not performing. That is why BET called him this year, because Jay & Beyonce was not coming 2 the show. They r probably riding around in that jeep of there’s. Oh by the way I know Usher was somewhere mad because Chris was the hightlight of the show.
ReplyDeleteTheo
chris Breezy is BACK yall Bitches!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat some people fail to realize is that these celebrities are far from perfect, they have their flaws too, but hitting on a woman is different. To me that’s a punk move, even if she hits you first or talks a lot of *****, he has to be the better person and walk away. Also I questioned the fact that, what could this girl have done to you that bad to make you act out and basically kill your career and everything you worked hard for.He wasn’t thinking and hopefully he;s learned from all this and should be very thankful to be given another chance. I ain’t going to lie, before the fight with Chris and Rihanna, I wasn’t a fan of her but was a fan of Chris Brown’s music and dancing…..After the incident, I still liked him. He’s talented and a great performer and his singing ain’t bad either. No one will ever really know the whole truth to what happened that night but those two, so leave it at that.
ReplyDeletehow ironic that rihanna, beyonce and jay weren't in the house at the bET awards, if you'll recall last year Chris Brown wanted to perform in the MJ tribute and Hova and Bey threatened BET not to show if he were allowed so needless to say it makes sense why they weren't there. Crazy right
ReplyDeleteI cnt belive so many people gave up on him because of Roby??? ROBYN really???
ReplyDeletecome on now
There’s nothing to forgice, i recognised his talent wen he came out at 16 and Ive recognised it thoughout his career,
TEAMBREEZY *****S:)
His performance was amazing. My heart went out to him & I’m so happy that he got the recognition he deserved. the past year & a half must have been hell for him & rihanna so I’m glad that they are both moving on & growing in their own rights. to the 3 or 4 negative comments on this thread – I won’t even waste my time or energy on u……u clearly need God in yr lives…..& maybe even a long, hard look in the mirror
ReplyDeletePerry is a homo so what...keep it pushing.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff kev's keep bringing it.
ReplyDeleteI love Chris!!!!
ReplyDeleteNia Long and Larenz did it for me, I fell in love with my husband when Love Jones came out and we're still married 14 years later.
ReplyDeleteJanae
Easily the nights brightest, best and most heartfelt performance goes to Chris Brown. young man I hope you are sincerely sorry. I do believe in second chances, don't let the same thing happen twice.
ReplyDeleteMorae
Thanks for all the great responses, as you all know I'm in support of Breezy, and be it positive or negative, long as you're respectful I love your viewpoint. I think Chris has suffered enough, and he has learned his lesson, you should NEVER hit a female. This will probably humble him for the rest of his life, and I think that's a good thing, and should be a lesson for everyone.
