James Morrison sings with so much soul, very reminiscent of
Sam Cooke ,Jackie Wilson and
Terrence Trent D'Arby. Here he pays homage to the late
Amy Winehouse with his rendition of
"Love Is A Losing Game". Morrison approaches it from the same angle of pain and disappointment, his father passed around the time of this performance, he fought similiar demons as Winehouse. I like the tenderness of his performance, very understated, yet he managess to drive the point home nonetheless.
Ive never heard of him, but I like the tone that I'm hearing, very soulful, especially for a white boy.
