Intentional/TGIF

Happy Friday everyone, ... Let's Talk about It!!

Each new day is a gift, a Blessing and a honor.  Life will always have meaning and purpose, whether its hidden or transparent.  Roadmaps tells the testimony of the journey, ignore the roadblocks, those are temporary and are a non factor.  Your focus should remain acute.   Forward movement is to be the 'change' that you would like to see.  We must participate in life, than merely exist.  Truly maturing gives curve balls, and things at times are VERY complicated and convoluted, which all help to shape and mold us into beautiful masterpieces.

The structure in which you are to grow, is to assert change in your life for productivity.  The balancing act to living, is understanding the choices that we make, and the priorities that we focus on.   Anything worth achieving, the dedication will come from hard work and being intentional, in the strides that you take and the rapport that you initiate.  Lets lift the fallen flock, repair what needs to be restored and heal what is wounded.  The spirit of discernment is a blessing and a curse.  Thanks be to God for allowing (me/you) the fortitude to see right through people, and the patience and compassion, to love them anyway.

Tito bring me a tissue ...

Okay so I think I saw the 'real' Billie Jean working at Pinks on Labrea@Melrose ... So maybe TMZ can ask her if the baby's father is Joe, Randy, Tito, Jermaine ... hell even Freddie Jackson, just NOT Michael Jackson's.  Miki Howard DID play Billie Holiday in a movie, she also recorded a tribute album to Billie Holiday, but thats where the comparisons begin AND end!! Flashback Who's That ...

Flashback Who's That Thursday!
Most will instantly recognize singer Tanya Blount from the movie 'Sister Act 2: Back In The Habit where she sang  "His Eye Is on the Sparrow" with Lauryn Hill.  Blount appeared on the 'Big Break' television show (similar to Star Search) hosted by Natalie Cole from there she  secured a recording contract with Polydor Records at age 19.  At 20 saw the release of her first album, Natural Thing, was released in 1994 and peaked at number seven on the R&B chart.  The album's first single "I'm Gonna Make You Mine" peaked to #57 on Billboard's R&B Singles chart. Two singles followed, "Through the Rain" peaking at #27 on Billboard's R&B Singles chart and "Hold On" at (#66)  by 1995 she received a nomination for Best New Artist at the Soul Train Awards.  Like so often in the music industry grear artisr fall through the cracks, Blount only recorded one project for Polydor, without a followup, chalk it up to politics.

Today her focus is on musical theatre in productions including What Every Woman Wants, Sneaky, Preacher's Kids,Born to Sing! and Christmas in Washington.  Her voice is one to be heard, and her talent cannot be denied.
