Civil Rights Kings Movement ...

Rest In Peace Rev C T Vivian who was Valiant and Gallant.   There are not many men on this earth who could truly personify those definitions.  A true Civil Rights leader, at the forefront of change.
How extremely glad I am, that he was able to witness this current climate change.  Letting him know that his pains, grief and anguish efforts, was NOT in vein.

The world has truly lost someone great.  To be injured for the cause of Civil Rights and remain grateful is a structure of a true warrior indeed.

Joseph Lowery, John Lewis and Vivian we’re giants for the Civil Rights Movement with strong shoulders, leaving much room for us to stand on and create brilliance, largely because of their battle wounds, paved the way ...

Commit, Mind, Body and Soul

We are in the fight, of our lives.  No justice No peace ... arm yourself.  GOD is our witness and secret Judge.  He’s on the main, we must tell of what we want and deserve.  I claim justice, FREEDOM and equality.

Happy 95th Birthday Grandmother

HAPPY - 95 - GRANDMOTHER!!! You are a shining example of a life well lived.  Though nothing has come easy.  With this current administration trying its damndest, to take you back to your childhood.  You remain unscathed. The stories that you continue to share with me. You have treated me to a life of culture, decorum, glamour and decency. ‘We never look down, you never know, who might be your savings grace’. ***SideBar*** Grandmother graduated from Berkeley High.  One of the criteria’s to graduate, you had to be able to swim two laps(Same as Harvard). All seven of the Black students graduated in her class. It wasn’t blatant, but the expectation, was not for them to succeed, legend is that ‘we’ don’t know how to swim.*** I’m happy to say that my Grandmother spoke of never experiencing any racism at her school. She loved it!! Makes me love the Berkeley community even more.
Today we honor YOU, We revel in YOU. Today at the Claremont climb, we’ll dance a gig, just as your C’est LaVie club did in 1955.  Grandfather is looking down smiling.
I love you and appreciate every single sacrifice. That you made, in order, for ‘us’ to be just as ‘great’ as anyone ... #equals.  Happy Birthday Grandmother Cora.
