Whitney Houston sang the
National Anthem over twenty years ago, and
NO one, and I repeat
NO one has come close to this performance, and
NO one ever will. I don't know why people attempt to rewrite history, so
Beyonce' Knowles good try, but your performance today at the Inauguration, was
'average' at best. Whitney Houston was a true President Obama supporter as the picture below illustrates. RIP
Only person that could turn this song into a top ten hit TWICE!! What a supernatural gift she had. Praise God.
ReplyDeleteWhitney, you are truly missed! Magnificent voice and version of the National Anthem!

ReplyDeleteI love President Obama and when I listen to Whitney Houston sing this song, I'm proud to be an American. Look at the complete and utter joy with which she sings! She knows that she can do ANYTHING she wants with her voice and she is ecstatic to share this with the world. All these years later, she still floors me as I watch her put her very soul into this song. Bravo, Whitney!
ReplyDeleteThis is such an extraordinary performance, representative of the enormous talent of the young and soaring Whitney Houston of the time. She was proud to be an American and she made all of us proud that she was one of us - not black or white - just US. I will never forget this
