Dearest Whitney
BET got your tribute right last night, WHO knew. Still it was bittersweet, because no one can sing your songs they way you did. I applaud Monica, Brandy, Chaka,Mariah Carey, Angela Bassett, Lela Rochon, Loretta Devine, your mother and brother. I hope that you were smiling down. Until next week. Rest with the angels princess.

ReplyDeleteI think Monica and Brandy were the highlights. Chaka though beautiful, I don't think she does "Im every woman" like Whitney did, eventhough she's the orginator, I personally feel that it's Whitneys song. I would have love for Chaka to sing "You Give Good Love" or "Just the Lonely talking again.
