Sherman Hemsley died today at his El Paso, Texas home. His nurse found him. It's being reported that he died of natural causes. Mr. Helmsley had two very successful television shows

NBC and the role of
George Jefferson on
The Jeffersons on
CBS, which was on television for 10 seaons. That role made him a household name. He never married and had no children. RIP Mr. Hemsley, he was 74 years old.
