I'm Just Saying...
It was haute couture for a high cause. Supermodel Naomi Campbell summoned her famous friends last night to put on a star-studded fashion show to raise money for quake-ravaged Haiti.
Fantasia is up to her old tricks again, I went to see the Color Purple in Los Angeles this weekend and the line was around the corner, anticipation was high. Only a few weeks ago, Tasia promised Momma O' (on her show) that she wasn't going to cancel, well apparently she forgot that conversation. Folks who were in line for refunds were PISSED to say the least. Get it together Fantasia, or your career will be over, just as quickly as it began.
Valentine's Day was the #1 movie at the Box Office this weekend, bringing in over 52 million dollars. America's Sweetheart Julia Roberts was in the movie all of six minutes, and received a staggering 3 million dollar paycheck. Success does has it's rewards.
Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie premiered their new version of 'We Are The World' 25 years later, this time a new array of stars, MOST not worthy, and the one's who were invited were NOT showcased, like Gladys Knight, Natalie Cole, Usher, Toni Braxton and Faith Evans were all reduced to being background singers to the likes of Nicole Scherzinger and Justin Bieber. Will we 'ever' learn to get it right?
BOOOOOOOOO's go out to NBC for showing the raw footage of the death of Olympic hopeful Nodar Kumitashvili, who was only 21 years of age. NBC showed their footage over and over during the Opening of the Winter Games!! At what point does human compassion come into play? NBC shame on you. Our hearts go out to his family.
Movie critic Roger Ebert took to his Twitter to call out John Mayer's racist comments by simply Tweeting: "To John Mayer regarding black women: What's not to like?"Ebert is married to Charlie "Chaz" Hammel - Smith who happens to be a black attorney.
Face it, John Mayer is a racist idiot asshole, and he's allowed to his opinion, now we all know where he stands.
Remember to every rumor, there's a certain bit of truth to it.
Hey Oprah, Dave Letterman, Wendy Williams and Ellen..
