Whitney Houston fans in Australia are complaining about her recent performances. She hasn't toured there in 13 years, and a LOT has happened. Rumors have alluded to Houston being in poor health, which aren't true, but perhaps more thought,time and prepartion should have gone into her "Nothing But Love" tour. I'm rooting for you Whitney, that's the price you pay for setting the bar so high. Btw her vocals aren't that bad, but clearly they are not at the level they once were.
Tyrese Gibson is set to play the late great Teddy Pendergrass. Now I'm just wondering who will play the late great Luther Vandross. Truth be told if it weren't for Teddy's accident, the careers of Luther and Freddie Jackson, might not have been so successful. Ironically both Teddy and Luther had shady dealings behind the stirring wheel of their cars.

According to law enforcement sources, Berg -- real name Christian Ward -- was at a house party at around 2:00 AM Monday morning when four suspects entered the home and brandished firearms. Russell Simmons is such a little YOTCH(B*tch)...Russy gave an interview yesterday with New York’s very conservative republican newspaper, the NY Post, and in it he suggested that rapper Jay Z and the NY Governor were in some kind of CORRUPT DEALING. Here is how the paper is reporting it:

The song is FIYAH, and Monica is rocking hot fashions throughout the video, and her love interest is none other than..Chad Ochocinco. So a little something for everybody.

Monica's new song is great and I caught the video yesterday. You're right, it's her own version of Obsessed.
ReplyDeleteI'll always love Whitney, but she will never be what she once was. I think God is teaching her a lesson, that you should never take for granted your blessings. In my mind, I think she's still using, and needs a real rehab, and not just the Bible, well you know what I mean.

Yes. I wish they would have allowed whitney to work a tad longer with her vocal coach..She could have gotten back to at least 90%. At this point, I would only give her a 75. Her time may be up:-(.
ReplyDeleteWhitney will always be held to a different standard. Most people fail to realize that. Unfornately that's the price that she has to pay for being so damn great, and by screwing up her voice with drugs. I just don't get it. Her voice was a gift from God. Sex, Drugs and Rock/Roll. It's a high price to pay, and Bobby Brown isn't worth .50 cents, but she loved him, but I digress.
