Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

On Tuesday October 29th. 2019, hundreds gathered at Forrest Lawn Cemetery, to say Farewell to the comedy Legend, known to the world as John Witherspoon. He was favorite Uncle that everyone loved, and he was the Uncle that, would attend the Family Cookout, and Family Reunions, to cut up and show out.

Witherspoon an actor-comedian who for decades made audiences laugh in TV shows and films, including the Friday, feature franchise and the WB’s The Wayans Bros. , died suddenly at his home today. He was 77.

“It is with deepest sorrow that we can confirm our beloved husband and father, John Witherspoon, one of the hardest working men in show business, died today at his home in Sherman Oaks at the age of 77,” Witherspoon’s family said in a statement to Deadline. “He is survived by his wife Angela, and his sons JD, Alexander, and a large family. We are all in shock, please give us a minute for a moment in privacy and we will celebrate his life and his work together. John used to say ‘I’m no big deal’, but he was huge deal to us.”

Never Can Say Goodbye ...

The world has lost one of its most precious Jewels.  The ever elegant Ms . Diahann Carroll was a goddess.  She represented excellence for LIFE and  Black Culture.  Her Style, Integrity. Class, Intelligence and Sophistication was shown, in every walk of her life.  I will miss her, truly.

Rest in Heavenly Peace Ms Carroll you are Angelic now. Your memory will live on, as we will continue, to speak your name and shall NEVER forget you, nor your presence.

Diamonds in Dreamland ...

Just the other day, I posted on the Legendary, Trailblazing, Iconic Ms.  Diahann Carroll, never once realizing why? All I knew is that I was posting, admiring, on one of the greatest loves of my life.  Though I really didnt know her, well, I was very privy to be in her company, on several occasions.  When I tell you CLASS, when I say REGAL .... she answered the call for anything breathtakingly radiant and distinguished and grand.  She was EVERYTHING that you could hope for.

Diahann Carroll you taught us so much. We are stronger, more beautiful and risk takers because of you. We will forever sing your praises, for a job well done. Rest your Gorgeous Beauty, you have earned your rightful place.
