Nudge/TGIF

Happy Friday everyone ... Let's Talk about It!

Face it I can't live to make you happy, and you can't live to make my happiness, lets respect each other as we dwell in our rightful space. Sometimes you need a little nudge to point you in the right direction, things that are deep within your reach, but insecurity keeps your from pressing forth, testing the limits of the core of self, can teach you about the levels and dimensions to your person. A goal can not be measured by other's standards, it's your inventory for personal fulfillment. The great thing about change is that it's the one thing that it constant, not all will be perfect, nor should it be, what should be the focus, is to avoid patterns that create negativity.

If you do not understand your purpose, you're overlooking what is meant for you. Time is privilege, it comes with understanding to solely give truth of yourself, irregardless of the treatment that others may show to you. I still dream in color, and the testament is in knowing that some horrific dark clouds loom and will possibly always lurk in the shadows, but growth is the achievement to recognize the days as they come, while still managing to find a way to deny the dark clouds to define your existence.

RIP Did You Know .... Gone Too Soon!

Nicole DeHuff, an actress who played Teri Polo's sister in Meet the Parents, she died of causes related to pneumonia. She was 30. The actress died Feb. 16 2005 in Hollywood, four days after she reportedly checked into a Los Angeles hospital, was misdiagnosed and sent home with orders to take Tylenol.
When her condition worsened, she returned to the hospital and was prescribed antibiotics for bronchitis and again sent home. Two days later, paramedics were called to her home after she collapsed, gasping for breath. By the time she reached the hospital, she was unconscious and passed away soon after.

Meet the Parents marked DeHuff's feature-film debut. She played Deborah Byrnes, the sister whose wedding prompts Gaylord "Greg" Focker's (Ben Stiller) visit to girlfriend Pam Byrne's (Polo) childhood home to attend the ceremony and, as suggested by the title, meet the parents. Hilarity ensues.
In one of the movie's most memorable scenes, a Speedo-clad Stiller spikes a volleyball into DeHuff's face, breaking the bride-to-be's nose and cementing his own unpopularity.
DeHuff also appeared in 2004's Suspect Zero with Ben Kingsley and in an independent film called Killing Cinderella.
She also starred in the as yet unreleased independent film Unbeatable Harold, directed by her husband, Ari Palitz, and costarring Dylan McDermott and Gordon Michaels.

On the small screen, DeHuff had roles in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Court, The Practice, Dragnet, Without a Trace and Monk. She also appeared in the TV movie See Arnold Run.
A native of Oklahoma, DeHuff graduated from the Carnegie Mellon University acting program.
She is survived by Palitz, her husband of four years, as well as her sister, her mother and her father.

** I created this weekly tribute dedicated to the stars who for one reason or another did not receive the send off through the media that they deserved. Please join me every Tuesday as I continue to celebrate 'LIFE'. Nicole Dehuff's star was on the rise, but was interrupted. People will live on as long as we remember them. Thank you Nicole for your contribution to this world and through your artistry, you will live on forever. kk **

Keeping It 100

On Friday August 24th - 2012 cyclist Lance Armstrong was banned and stripped of all his medals and trophies for doping over the years.  Armstrong won the Tour De France seven times.  He adamantly denies any wrong doings.  U.S. Anti-Doping Agency punished Armstrong with a lifetime ban from professional cycling and erased 14 years of his career after concluding he used performance-enhancing drugs, Armstrong raced in a mountain bike race in Aspen, Colo., on Saturday where he came in second place and was to follow it up by running a marathon there Sunday, which he cancelled. Personally I think that he's guilty and his latest actions leads me to believes the the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency was on to something.

One of the KKK sisters who is dating Kanye West, took photo's in blackface with a gigantic afro wig.  Clearly she has no respect for a movement that she will never understand, nor be a part of, and is dumb as a box of rocks, she's such a media whore, and with NO substance and responsibilty.  I don't get it, her father was Rob Kardashian, who helped get O.J.Simpson a 'not' guilty verdict, which AMERICA hated, but she gets a pass, hmmm well NOT with me. Hopefully Kanye gets well and over his illness soon.

Usher Raymond and ex-wifey Tamika were in court on Friday battling for the custody of the two children that they had together.  Raymond was awarded primary custody.  When a man is given primary custody over a female, no words need to be said, it clearly shows the majority of the time, the character of the mother.

Snooki gives birth. WHO cares!! another non desserving media whore.

Humble Pie/TGIF

Happy Friday everyone .. Lets Talk about It!!

I recently came to an epiphany about myself, my head can be very hard when it's something that I believe in, Defining moments in life will be those of clarity, the mistakes will not be the standout, the way you address them will be, and that's the recovery. My goal daily is to be a fair person, who tries to see the honest answer,as oppose to the popular opinion, like the book of Job teaches absolute truth is essential.

We live in a very cynical world, the treatment of how we care for each other is the reward that goes unnoticed, while we buy into a society where the homes that we live in or the fancy cars that we drive, defines a status, but in truth, you define you. Humble pie can be a wonderful desert when you're capable of digesting it in the same manner than you served it. I suspect that I'll be making some calls over the next few weeks to beg pardon, and I've a sneaky suspicion that some of you will too. Its the ability to realize that at your best, mistakes will happen, we're human, the answer is so simple yet so complex.

Comedienne Phyllis Diller dead at 95

Thanks for the laughs and the great memories that you've left us with.  Comedienne Phyllis Diller made us laugh in a time when females really weren't allowed to be funny, but through all the struggles of equality, she found her way, and she did it with integrity, wit and charm.  RIP Ms. Diller and take your final bow for a job well done.

RIP Did You Know .... Gone Too Soon!

Ray VitteI'm currently doing research on Ray Vitte and his family, when he passed his wife was three months pregnant with this son E. Gehah G. Vitte, who never got the chance to know his father.  The police on duty that night story had so many holes in it.
With that said, earlier I printed a story and did not give proper credit to it's author, so I'd like to apologize to Brenda John and share her words, I found what she had to say and contribute very riveting to say the least.

I wrote this short article about Ray Vitte to counter some grave misinformation that a supposedly eye witness had written claiming that Mr. Vitte was arrested at a third rate motel in LA high on drugs and have fought with the LAPD. None of which was accurate or true.

In early 1999, in March to be exact, I had tried to obtain a copy of Ray Vitte's death certificate, but strangely it had a "security hold" on it by orders of the LAPD and Coroners Office.

"Ray Vitte's death was not at all attributed to drug usage. Both the autopsy and the subsequent toxicology studies showed no indication. Ray Vitte did not die in a third rate motel. He in fact died at his Studio City apartment that he shared with his wife, Ernesta Vitte, After suffering what seemed to be a psychotic breakdown that lasted for eleven hours inside his Studio City. According to the coroner's report,Ray Vitte died of liver degeneration as well as heart failure. As to be expected, his family disputes those findings and instead believes that Mr. Vitte died as a result of the physical struggle he had with the police authorities the evening of his death. There has never been a clear explanation for why Ray Vitte had been screaming and shouting during the day and the evening the police were called to his residency in Studio City. His wife was not at home when the police arrived, so she could offer no explanation for his behavior that night. Though there is some indication that Ray Vitte has been suffering from an undisclosed medical problem. Earlier in the month (February 11, 1983 to be exact), Mr Vitte had been hospitalized for an indefinite period to determine the cause of a lingering fever."

I had the pleasure of speaking to Mr. Vitte's widow Ernesta on two occasions. By the way, the attorney who represented Mrs. Vitte in her lawsuit against the LAPD, was none other than the late Johnny Cochran.

Respectfully,

Brenda John

Always Be My Baby ...

Dearest Whitney,
"Sparkle" opened on Friday, and I must admit that I didn't not attend any screenings this weekend.  The promotions of the movie has really driven the point home, that you're really no longer here, it's so strange and painful to witness the entertainment world without you in it.  I know that if you were alive the promo's for the movie would have been crazy exciting, I'm know that you would have appeared on 'The View", "Dave Letterman", "Jay Leno", "Entertainment Tonight", "106 and Park", "Access Hollywood" and of course you would have rocked the red carpet like no other.  Instead the premiere had strictly African American entertainers coming out to support your last movie.  Hollywood was only interested in this movie if you were around to promote it.  Truthfully, no one in the movie had enough star power to help your promote the movie, you basically did everything on your own.  Jordin Sparks, yes though sweet, she's just not that interesting.  So I'm sad to say that "Sparkle" opened at #5 taking in 12million dollars, which isn't so bad when you consider only 2200 hundred theatres carried it, which breaks down to about 5000.00 dollars per movie screen.
Clive has a CBS special in the works for you in November, and then there's the Rickey Minor produced VHI Divas Live!!  I think that Minor will do you justice, after all he was your musical conductor for over 20 years.
Lastly I'll close by saying this, I will at some point support "Sparkle" at some point, but it's still too soon.  When I look at Pat and Gary Houston and everyone from your family who continues to try to be a 'star' from your passing, it sickens me.  the more they do it, the more apparent it is, how their success will never be.  You had that SPARK, that POW, that WOW, the X-FACTOR, you were HERE live in LIVING WHITNEY COLOR.  Until next week, I'm wishing you a restful sleep.

It is the task of the enlightened not only to ascend to learning and to see the good but to be willing to descend again to those prisoners and to share their troubles and their honors, whether they are worth having or not. And this they must do, even with the prospect of death. They shall give of their help to one another wherever each class is able to help the community. ~Plato

Dear God,
Thanks for the opportunity to witness another day of your goodness, mercy and grace.  I'm so grateful for the chance to honor your presence and I give gratitude to all the blessings in my life.  In my shortcomings, I'm willing to surrender to learn more of your favor, to do your will and to be a vessel to spread your word and I hope to be an angel to all that I encounter.  For all the blessings that flow, I do give praise and thanks to you almighty.  Love and Light to all who walk with the understanding of To God, be the glory, and if God be for you, who can be against you. Rejoice/TGIF

Happy Friday everyone ...  Let's Talk about It!!

Something incredible that takes over your life, out of nowhere, that great feeling that no words can describe. Today I'm finding that nonsense has no place, I'm living for the out of this world extraordinary days, giving greatness in my approach expecting nothing short of the same. Upon first encounter I'm stating what I'm looking for, in business my fee is the first topic of discussion, if you have to ask you probably can't afford my time. A product sells because of proper marketing, a campaign and a strategy, that applies in life too.

Having a powerful group of friends will challenge and stimulate you, it seals your infrastructure. they help you to face the struggles and hurdles that life presents from time to time.  A joyful joy is to dance like your life depended on it, the elation is in the realization. It's time for you to celebrate your life and the spirits having flown, in this moment of the 'now' approval isn't necessary. Awesome moments become a mural that define your life. Change is constant, proceed accordingly.

Everything But The Girl is one incredible duo, amazingly the folk duo recorded for about ten years before ever having any type of success, and the ironic part is their hit "Missing" became a international success because of a Todd Terry 'house' remix, which turned into a bonafide club classic, when it's original state was something completely opposite of who they really were.  Their performance here of "Rollercoaster" stays true to who Everything But The Girl is as a group and how dedicated they were to their craft.  This song dealt with a near death accident that member Ben Watt had experienced and it took a toll on the duo's relationship, Tracey Thorn delivers their journey of that time with tenderness, emotion, love and heartfelt compassion.

Happy 46 Halle - You are Simply Heavenly!

At 46-years-old, Halle Berry is living proof that cheese, scotch, and Beverly Johnson aren't the only things that get better with age.

The actress celebrated her birthday today, and though she's not quite old enough to get discounted meals at Norms, the star is far removed from Hollywood's younger circles. But she certainly hasn't let the passing of time get in the way of her beauty.

Since landing her first role in 1989's short-lived TV series Living Dolls, Berry has shined on and off the big screen. She's been a Bond girl and the face of Versace. And at 46, she doesn't appear to be slowing down. The actress is set to appear in four movies over the next two years.

Born in 1966, the beauty came bouncing into the world in August, the 60's shindigalicious(my word). Though she probably doesn't remember much from the '60s, she can still boast about being alive when the United States landed on the moon, Marvin Gaye and John Lennon still made music, and bell-bottoms were more socially acceptable. Or, if she'd rather keep things more timely, she could simply brag about how damn stunningly beautiful she still looks!!

RIP Did you know ..... Gone Too Soon!

ANTONY HAMILTON was born in London, England on May 4, 1952 to an unwed mother who gave him up. At the age of two weeks the baby was adopted by a couple named Mr and Mrs. DON SMITH was a career military man with the Australian Royal Air Force and so ANTONY was raised on a sheep farm down under.

Schooled at the Presbyterian based Scots College, he left at age 15 to study ballet in Melbourne. Several years later while on tour in the U.S.S.R. with the ballet company, a photographer took several hundred pictures of ANTONY and presented him with a portfolio of the finished product and encouraged the handsome young man to pursue a career as a model, advice which he acted on.

For several years from the mid 70s onward, ANTONY was a top male model in Europe. As what happens with many models, a future in acting was the next step. HAMILTON first movie was an appearance in a minor 'B' grade vampire flick in 1979, but (he) lucked out 5 years later when he was chosen over 200 other actors for the lead in a television movie of the biblical story of SAMSON & DELILAH.
Later that same year when actor JON ERIK HEXUM was accidentally killed on the set of the new television series COVER UP, HAMILTON was offered a role as the new male lead. When the series was not renewed the following year, ANTONY wondered what his next move might be.

It wasn't long before he was contacted by CUBBY BROCCOLI to discuss the possibility of becoming the next James Bond when 58 year old ROGER MOORE had become too old for the role. While still only in the negotiating stage word of HAMILTON'S homosexuality reached BROCCOLI' Bond team and regardless of whose version you read, the outcome was the same; ANTONY HAMILTON was no longer a contender for the role. PIERCE BROSNAN would eventually be the next James Bond.

The following year however ANTONY lucked out when he was cast in the new MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE television series. His character, Max Harte was variation of the 'muscle' played by PETER LUPUS as Willie on the original series 2 decades earlier. The series didn't catch on like its predecessor and was cancelled after two seasons. Around this time, his health was beginning to fail. ANTONY HAMILTON had AIDS.   He made only another film and appeared in several more television shows in guest starring roles. Hamiton was terrified of the disease and had fears that he would not win his battle with the disease, he often spoke to friends about his view on the disease, which he said felt like being in a war battle, you will have some hero's and some casualties, unfortunately he was the later.  He lived beyond his means and had very little when he passed away.ANTONY HAMILTON died on March 29, 1995 from an AIDS related illness; he was 42.

I created this weekly tribute dedicated to the stars who for one reason or another did not receive the send off through the media that they deserved. Please join me every Tuesday as I continue to celebrate 'LIFE'. Hamilton  worried that people would not remember him when he left this earth, but it's simply not true.  People will live on as long as we remember them.  Thanks Antony Hamilton for your contribution to this world and through your artistry, you will live on forever.  kk

Always Be My Baby ...

Dearest Whitney,

Last week would have been your 49th birthday, also the 11th marked six months since your departed this earth, a landmark that I'm sickened by.  Arista announced a release date of a new greatest hits package, no new material, so basically Arista is doing what they have always done DROPPED the ball.  Your 'Sparkle" soundtrack opened to poor numbers which is a clear result of no marketing strategy.  This week the world gets to witness your greatness for the last time with 'Sparkle' opening this weekend, I'm still undecided if I will be in attendance for the opening, the wound is too fresh.  I think about you all the time, and I know that GOD knew best, so I continue to accept your fate along with the other legion of fans who are mourning your loss.  I can never say it enough about your talent and presence, NO ONE COULD TOUCH the heights that you soared.  Until next week, I'll be seeing you. Restful sleep to you my princess.

Actor Al Freeman has passed away RIP

The son of African American stage actor Al Freeman (1884-1956), and star of stage, TV and film, Al Freeman Jr. (born Albert Cornelius Freeman Jr., on March 21, 1934, in San Antonio, Texas), has died at the age of 78 years old.

His career, as an actor primarily, as well as a writer and director, spans several decades, dating back to the 1950s.
He made his big screen debut in 1960's melodrama The Rebel Breed.
Most notably, in 1967, Freeman Jr. co-starred with Shirley Knight in the film version of Leroi Jones' (Amiri Baraka's) off-Broadway play Dutchman, in a performance that earned him excellent reviews, and further attention for his portrayal of a black subway passenger victimized by a frantic white woman.

Dutchman would later be adapted for the screen, with Freeman Jr. and Knight reprising their roles - a film we've featured on this site on more than one occasion, and will likely feature again shortly, in light of today's news.
Three years later, Freeman Jr. co-starred with Patty Duke in the landmark TV movie My Sweet Charlie (1970), playing a volatile New York City lawyer stranded in a small Texas town with a white unwed mother.

Freeman Jr. is likely best best known to daytime-drama fans for his lengthy stint as Lt. Ed Hall on One Life to Live - a role that won him a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series in 1979, and setting his place in history as the first African American actor to win that specific award.
And more recently, he'll also be remembered for his portrayal of Elijah Muhammed in Spike Lee's 1992 opus Malcolm X; he actually played Malcolm X in the 1979 miniseries, Roots: The Next Generations.

Freeman was also a screenwriter, penning screenplays for Ossie Davis' Countdown at Kusini (1976), and was a director himself, helming (and starring in) the 1971 feature A Fable, from a script written by Amiri Baraka, based on his own play (The Slave: A Fable), about a black radical who violently and fatally torments his white ex-wife and children, after they start a new family with a white man.

On TV, Freeman Jr appeared in serials like The Cosby Show, and Homicide: Life on the Street.
His Broadway theatre credits include Blues for Mister Charlie (1964), Look to the Lilies (1970) and Medea (1974).
Up until his death, Freeman Jr. was a professor at Howard University, in the Department of Theatre Arts, teaching acting. He served as Chairman/Artistic Director of the Department for six years.

He died last night, August 9th; although the cause of his death hasn't yet been made public.

**As a child I was made aware of Mr. Freeman through the film "My Sweet Charlie" his presence captured my attention because of his ability to show tenderness in playing an escape convict, that had enough passion and integrity to help a young wed mother who was a racist by society standards, against all odds they formed a friendship.  Thank you Mr. Freeman for always bringing integrity to all the characters that you played, I was always impressed by your body of work.  May you RIP. kk**

Ame Williams - I Remember You (rip)

Three years ago today you took flight, out of nowhere, I didn't see it coming .....
When we last spoke we talked about the good times, the fun times, the future, various angst and the loss of Michael Jackson.  During our conversation, I remember saying to you, just think Ame one day someone will be sitting around a table and sharing memories about us when we're gone, little did I know six short days later, that reality would be revealed.  I know that GOD has a design for our lives, though I don't always understand, I do know that its all a part of his master plan.

I appreciated the consistency in our friendship, it wasn't fake or built on pretense.  With you I could always surrender and not present gimmick or delusion, I could be myself, you never judged, you loved, encouraged and spoke truth in your loving and caring way. You helped me take care of my mother when she was battling ovarian cancer, basically as if she were your mother, seeing you do that was witnessing GOD's work and your mission.  Heaven continues to get more and more Interesting because you're in such good company.

I know that I will see you again, but in the interim, I'll sit in solitude today and remember our walk in this journey together and I'll smile, of course tears will play a part too.  I miss you ole friend, in missing you I have the luxury of knowing that a part of you is always with me, and having an extra angel on my shoulders up there to barter with GOD when I'm just being Kevin, and yes what a mess that can be sometimes, but you loved me unconditionally through it all.  You are missed, you are remembered and you are LOVED!

Freedom/TGIF

Happy Friday everyone ... Let's Talk it About!
Discovery is a fulfilling prophecy, helping to release blocked patterns of incomplete thoughts to free the negative walls that has built up resistance. Having the tenacity to unfold the answers to the questions that often times don't appear to make sense, it helps to shape the patterns of your life. We all have different behaviors, as to the reasons in which we govern ourselves. When hang ups exists within us, it's formed from a point of uncertainty, it can manifest as a child, it can also come from personal experiences or things that you've witnessed.

To live your life, being the best that you can be in any given situation, is about unlocking walls that you've built for protection and survival. Freedom to be has a price, but its never that simple, it takes commitment to dig deep into yourself, by not being afraid of what vulnerabilities you'll find, to approach the situation head on, without backing down, to say yes, today I'm willing to be raw in my pursuit. When you open yourself up, to be full, whole and complete. Life will reveal that it gets so much better when we're not afraid to understand who we really are as oppose to who we pretend to be.

Music is it's purist form, is a testament of time.  I loved this song from day one, and my feelings have endured.  The heart wants what the heart wants and love is an enduring element, that makes life so worth while.  I love Corrine Bailey Rae's simplistic performance of 'Just Like A Star', it speaks to what live recordings should be about ... talent without props and gimmicks.

Faces ...

The release date of Tamia’s ‘Beautiful Surprise’ album is still weeks away – August 28th – but she has already provided her fans with a preview of the set. Comprising eleven songs, the record is the songbird’s first new studio effort since 2006. The sultry singer's voice is a welcome return to music, in the day and off where gimmicks is the flavor of the day, it's good to see an artist taking her craft serioulsy, and giving us music to feel the soul.
Featured on ‘Beautiful Surprise’ are the ‘Lose My Mind’, ‘Him’ and ‘It’s Not Fair’. Tamia’s husband, Grant Hill, does not make a cameo on any of the songs as he did in the video for the LP’s title track. See the full track list and listen to a preview of the ‘Beautiful Surprise’ album below:

1. Lose My Mind
2. Give Me You
3. It’s Not Fair
4. Believe in Love
5. Beautiful Surprise
6. It’s Not Over Yet
7. Love I’m Yours
8. Him
9. Still Love You
10. Because of You
11. Still

I found this beautiful face to accompany my 'faces' blog today, I just love the eyes and lips, and how captivating this picture is without really trying to.  It's simple and understated, it definitely gets the conversation started you just want to know me.more.  I'm always a sucker for a pretty face.  This week I showcased beauty in two different ways, not only does a beautiful face exists within singer Tamia, but also she possesses one of the most beautiful voices that the 20th Century has produced.  Lastly beauty is in the eye, of the holder, and in the picture on the bottom, the beauty is largely captured in the eyes.

RIP Did you know ...... Gone Too Soon!

LOS ANGELES - Lamont Bentley, who was a regular in the 1990s sitcom "Moesha" and appeared frequently in television and movies, was killed in a car crash, his manager.
Bentley died on a Tuesday night (January 18 2005) when his vehicle plunged off the San Diego Freeway, manager Susan Ferris said. He was the only person in the vehicle ejecting him from the vehicle.

Born “Artimus Lamont Bentley” in Milwaukee on October 25, 1973, his mother, Loyce, moved the family to Los Angeles, in the hopes that she could ignite her own career as a singer. But Lamont’s antics at his mother’s auditions caused everyone to laugh, and someone suggested he get in front of the camera, as a child comic. He was cast in a Starbucks TV spot, among others, and his job as a child actor was launched. Later on, he would portray juveniles on TV, even though he was over 18 and “playing down.” Most notably, his performance as a teenaged father (in a public-service announcement) who opts to babysit his infant son instead of playing in a high school football game, was lauded by his peers.

Bentley, 31, played Hakeem Campbell, the longtime friend of pop singer Brandy's character, Moesha Mitchell, in the UPN sitcom "Moesha."
Bentley had appeared in a number of films, including "The Wash" and "Tales From the Hood." He also played Tupac Shakur in the TV movie, "Too Legit: The MC Hammer Story," and had appeared in guest roles on "The Parkers," "NYPD Blue" and "Clueless."

Bentley is the father of two daughters Brazil and Artesia.
"2005 was a big year for him," Ferris said. "We were very excited because he was coming into his own. It's like a candle being snuffed right out."

This is my ongoing tribute to stars who passed away with little to no fan-fare. Follow my tributes every Tuesday.  Thank you Lamont for your contribution to the world and for enriching our lives, may you RIP

FINALLY .... it's Andy Murray's turn - GOLD

Tennis player Andy Murray, got his heart broken just one month ago at Wimbledon All England Club, when he lost the Championship finals match to Roger Federer, you just had to feel for him, he was crying on the court, because he wanted it so badly. Today Murray can put all of that behind him, as he rose to the occasion to beat the 17 time grand Champion Federer in straight sets 62 61 64. Murray had the pressure of his entire London country weight on his shoulders.  Today he can finally satisfy their demands, by giving his country their first gold medal since 1912.  Congrats Andy!!

The Human Spirit so Humbling.

Oscar Pistorius of South Africa is now the first double-amputee to compete in both the Olympics & Paralympics. A truly inspirational athlete.  Another constant and visual reminder to NEVER SURRENDER, this is a testament of encouragement and a reminder that if you truly believe, you can do anything, it's starts with believing.

Venus & Serena Williams win Olympic gold

Congratulations to Venus and Serena Williams for winning their THIRD  gold medal in 12 years. The sisters won doubles gold  in 2004, 2008, 2012.  Both sisters are now tied  with 4 gold medals, 3 in doubles and 1 each in singles.  I'm so proud of these ladies.  You deserve a BOW!! I applaud you. So very inspiring.

Keeping It 100

Last week's Jackson family fiasco, had stories coming from ALL over the place, mostly accurate stories, but when you have money you can get anything retracted, for instance TMZ ran an article stating that Janet Jackson slapped her niece and called her a "spoiled little bitch", this week TMZ said that they made a mistake, here's their somewhat remorseful retraction "Although we believed the story to be true when we published it, we have now determined it was not correct ... Janet did not slap or otherwise touch Paris, nor did she verbally abuse her" Well NEWSFLASH the story was true.
Last week Katherine Jackson said that she wasn't taken to Arizona against her will, in court Thursday she stated that she trusted the family members that she was with to be honest with her and they werent.  She was regranted guardianship of MJ's kids in court Thursday. Jermaine (Mr. Claymation himself) Jackson retracted his signature from the petition challenging the Estate, now he wants to be the nice guy. And if that wasn't enough news. Momma O' has given the green light for a reality show on crazy LaToya Jackson for the 2013 television season, here's my take on that subject matter: Call me crazy, but I don't think OWN will be a network next season. If OWN is around next year, I'm all in on watching loopy Latoya, it will be a trainwreck.
The Jacksons excluding Janet and Katherine are all financially challenged, so money will always play a part in this story. MONEY brings about the worse evils in people and it can divide a family.

Boxer Floyd Mayweather was releasted from prison this morning, and just like when he turned himself in to serve his time rapper 50 Cent was right with him.  When Mayweather drove away from the police station 50 Cent was riding shotgun.  Could they be the updated version of O.J. Simpson and Al Cowlings?Hmmm you just got to love Hollywood, if you pay attention, you have all the missing pieces to the puzzle.

Rapper Mystikal was released from Prison today, unlike Mayweather he didn't have a companion waiting outside for him. Mystikal please try to do the right thing this time.

Singer Katy Perry is dating John (heartbreaker) Mayer.  Perry recently divorced from crazy man Russell Brand.  C'mon Katy haven't you seen his story before? We all know how it's going  to end.

Hollywood isn't for PUNKS, if you want the jelly, sometimes you will be put in a jam!! I'm OUTRO!!!! KK'

Comradeship/TGIF

Happy Friday everyone ... Let's Talk about It!!

I remember life when it was easy, I remember when I had my mother here on this earth with me. To remember my grandmother's homemade Ice Cream from fresh snow flakes. All the memories that provide you with comfort and security are the tools that you'll need to be successful in life. Being a role model to those that you meet, to share some of your stories is the art of true fellowship, that's called bonding. The trials and tribulations are the stumbling blocks to see how your brain works, to show how you handle situations. That is the art of life, everyone must participate to get the most beneficial components. You're only a strong as the company you choose to include in your world.

Face it, the fact of the matter is that we all will need someone in life to lean on, the follower is not going to follow if the premise is weak, they are intrigued by the light that is shining, and that light is you. Comradeship is a connection, its a silent understanding that does not need to be voiced daily, it's the unsaid understanding, and it's about a choice. Time allotted should not be taken for granted, the moment is now, stop procrastinating and find time for self, and honor the present moment that is yours, because you will not get that time again. Tomorrow is new found awareness, if you're blessed to wake and read this, cease your moment or otherwise you're just taking up space that someone else could utilize.

What Are You Doing With Your Life?
