Lee Thompson Young laid to rest ..

Friends, family and cast mates gathered for a memorial to remember Lee Thompson Young, after he lost his life to suicide. **courtesy of  Hollywood Life**

After the shocking death of Lee Thompson Young on August 19, the 29-year-old was laid to rest in Hollywood, Calif., where his loved ones gathered to say their last goodbyes.

Lee Thompson Young Laid To Rest

The Famous Jett Jackson star was only 29 when he died after committing suicide. His family remembered him on the Paramount lot in Hollywood, where Rizzoli & Isles taped.
The private service lasted almost three hours and had hundreds of guests, according to TMZ. Rizzoli & Isles co-star Angie Harmon was one of the guests to speak, and she reportedly broke down in tears during her short eulogy. “It was really hard to hear her because she was in tears,” a funeral attendee told E!.
Jordan Bridges, also from Rizzoli & Isles, spoke as well, reportedly recounting his deep bond with Lee and emphasizing how much he will be missed.
The ceremony also included practices from Ifa, a West African religion that Lee practiced. Dancers performed in all white as Lee’s mother, Velma Love, blessed the ground behind them. Additionally, the family requested any donations be made to Young Storytellers Foundation, to raise awareness of the arts for underprivileged kids.

Lee Thompson: Friends Remember The ‘Sweet, Intelligent Man’

Rizzoli & Isles creator Janet Tomaro was among the guests. She took to Twitter after the shocking death, tweeting, “We are all without the words to truly express our collective grief and profound sadness at the loss of such a sweet, bright light.”
Additionally, TNT released the following statement:
Everyone at Rizzoli & Isles is devastated by the news of the passing of Lee Thompson Young. We are beyond heartbroken at the loss of this sweet, gentle, good-hearted, intelligent man. He was truly a member of our family. Lee will be cherished and remembered by all who knew and loved him, both on and offscreen, for his positive energy, infectious smile and soulful grace. We send our deepest condolences and thoughts to his family, to his friends and, most especially, to his beloved mother.
Disney Channel, which he starred on as Jett Jackson from 1998 to 2001, also released a statement to HollywoodLife.com, saying “Nothing any of us can say will adequately express our sadness over Lee’s untimely passing — our thoughts are with his loved ones and the many fans of his work.”
**This story is so heartbreaking. Something doesn't add up.  Its also very rare to have a funeral service on the prestigious Paramount Pictures lot.  What is very clear is that Lee was dearlie loved and respected by many.   I hope that one day soon depression will be addressed deeper than viewed as a clinical illness.  The pain from depression is very real, and goes deeper than a medication from a counselor.  May Lee rest in peace.  My heart gors out to his family, friends and co-workers.** KK

Willingly/TGIF

Happy Friday everyone, ... Lets Talk about It!!

Sometimes you have to stop thinking so much and just go where your heart takes you. Trust that you are the best judge of self and the betterment of the brand called you!  PATIENCE - wasting is never wasteful but rather a time to get to know you, your King and your future. Let stillness have its perfect place, while you await the promise. In waiting comes discovery. Soul searching is the best form of enlightenment. The older you get, the more you will experience.  The roads that lead back is what will truly astonish you.

OBSTACLES are put there for a reason, its up to you to do the math! Pace yourself to get to the rightful blessings meant. Treading uphill battles will give your endurance, awareness and pause. The choice that you make ultimately will reveal the designs on your life. With struggle is progress, never should trials and tribulations be viewed as a shortcoming or downfall. Like the saying goes 'some people create their own storms' then complain because its raining'.  You are the ruler of your own forecast. There's meaning in everything that we do. When its all said and done, the intent is how your character will be viewed. Beautifully imperfect is a nice comfortable street to reside on. As we should all possess a lovely disposition.

** This week marked the 50th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King's March On Washington, as a nation withnessed the birth of his 'I Have A Dteam Speech'.   Equality for all, not just for some. Please lets collectively remember what the original intent of the dream was all about.  Its essential that we get back to the important things in this country, so that our predecessors life and efforts weren't in vain.  Thank you Dr. King for sacrificing your life,  for the betterment, for the movement of a people and culture. We're not where we should be, but we're gaining. Any type of movement is progress. Idle is not an option.

Disconnected/TGIF

Happy Friday everyone, ... Let's Talk about It!!

Disconnect, fading, disappearing all are hollow words. Was I ever really here?
purpose hmmmm did I have a purpose. Crazy is the best word to describe the state of the world. The madness is unacceptable. The blatant disrespect that most see, and chose to overlook, because its easier to tread life and not ruffle feathers, instead of putting your voice to a cause. Im so thoroughly disgusted by what big brother choses to filter our mainstream with. You are smarter than what you're being given credit for. Again its easier to look the other way, but the word, coward or passive will never be attached to my name. I came to leave my legacy,
and I Intend to do it by any means necessary. My place can only be filled by me, the same goes for you also.

Numbness, distant and unavailable are the words that defines 'void'. A worthy
cause fought and lost does not defy your efforts. Gallantly has its credentials too. Your presence is required for this journey called life, and an absence markis for the group who opted for an easy way out, the word better known or suited for them is 'loser'. Kinda harsh? Well today its the hand that the world dealt you, are you playing against the odds?  Disconnection forms when distance is present.  A friendships/relationships are a two way street, not a dead end.

Lee Thompson Young Suicide ...

Lee Thompson Young -- who played the main character on Disney's "The Famous Jett Jackson" -- has committed suicide,  courtesy of TMZ.  He was 29.

Young's body was discovered inside his North Hollywood home Monday with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to sources. It's unclear why Young took his own life.

Lee's publicist said, "It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life this morning ... Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor, he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed."

Young currently appears in the TNT show "Rizzoli & Isles" -- and we're told when he didn't show up to work Monday morning, staffers called Young's landlord to check up on the actor. That's when the landlord found him.

The executive producer of "Rizzoli & Isles" tells us, "Everyone at [the show] is devastated by the news of the passing of Lee Thompson Young."

She adds, "We are beyond heartbroken at the loss of this sweet, gentle, good-hearted, intelligent man. He was truly a member of our family. Lee will be cherished and remembered by all who knew and loved him, both on- and offscreen, for his positive energy, infectious smile and soulful grace. We send our deepest condolences and thoughts to his family, to his friends and, most especially, to his beloved mother."

Raz B. on Life Support

DeMario (Raz B) Thornton is on life support in China.  Better known to most as Raz B.  He's a good friend of mine, and I'm sending prayers up.  Doctor's in China are saying that his situation is looking 'dire'.  Thornton had performed the night before at a nightclub and a brawl broke, Thornton attempted to break up the fight, and got hit in the head with a glass wine bottle.  Originally he went to the hospital, after getting his bottom lip stitched.  Less than 24 hours later Thornton was found non responsive.
Please keep him in your prayers.  He has always been a misunderstood person, by telling the truth he was viewed as the bad guy or trouble maker.  I'll keep your posted on this story as the developments continue.

Involved/TGIF

Happy Friday everyone, ... Lets Talk about It!!!

Its time to get involved, your presence is required. Being 'Idle' isnt an option. Pretending not to see the obvious is no longer accepted. Frustrations can bring amazing self discoveries, and catapult into a level of depth, that perhaps you didn't know existed. Proving once again that you haven't lost your ability to feel and to care. It's a rapid race and the pace is getting faster and faster. It's about sinking or swimming, a survival time testament. Opening yourself up to the prospect and possibilities. Freeing yourself to roam to wherever the road of life leads you. It will get you to the proper tasks that is meant for you to conquer, into growing to be the person that you were destined to become.

If I see everything and say nothing, am I just as guilty? What examples am I following; more importantly, who am I leading? We must play an active role, and commit to getting involved for change. Purpose is delegated to you. Some can handle privilege, while others can not. When you think of all the sacrifices that our Heavenly Father endured for us, so that we can have the life that we're living. Its only fair that we do our part. Anything less is a wrong consequence. Forward movement propels positive thoughts and focus.

Vigor/TGIF

Happy Friday everyone, ... Lets Talk about It!! (Dedicated to the memories of Theado 'Ted' Denagall and Eve Contente ... you're in my heart forever)

Say goodbye, then say hello, funny how hard letting go can be. We humans quickly get attached to possessions, which are just temporary comforts, that get left behind when we go. To ESCAPE is crying, it soothes, desire propels, but actions bring about results. This week I witnessed a loved one's life ending, and I was placed specifically to witness a terminal life transition, so humbling, powerful, heartbreaking and a beautiful precious gift. To let go and trust God is the living testimony.  Lately I keep hearing that I need  'to get out of my own way'  sound familiar? We are so busy looking for that 'big' moment that we cant see the power of grace.  God leads us ever so gently and not intrusively. He lets us go along bumping our heads against the same stone, until we are ready to receive our blessings. Look in the mirror, SEE your gift, its time to stop running.

DEVOTION we awake with renewed vigor, our routine is clock work, part of that spirit is to worship, some forget that fine detail. Now is the time that we're in healing mode, breaking old habits, its self discovery rituals now to refresh and be openly available to the 'what ifs' of a tomorrow that is not promised.  We are illumined, elevated and socially aware that change has to come, no longer can we sit observe and do nothing. Are you willing to participate in the dawning of a new way?

Presence/TGIF

Happy Friday everyone, ... Lets Talk about It!!

Want is an unfilled desire, you must make your Presence known. As you continue to live, the realization will reveal to you that 'Perfection' is not necessary to make a real long and lasting difference to other people's lives. Cowards never start, but they hide behind the winners who understand how to finish. Recently someone called me a hypocrite, which means I have the ability to revisit previous thoughts, we cant be right about it all. The most common way people give up their power is by thinking that they don't have any. Your movement is to understand your 'Presence', its your power, its your gift, and your reward.

Honesty works against propaganda, and pure thoughts, helps to keep your inner sanctum, which is your space to rule and dominate. No person, situation or thing has the right to control that unless you allow it to.  Be careful as to what you condone and give attention to. It takes only one person to change your life, and that is YOU!! The brilliance of you, is not being afraid to stand on the edge, with truth your convictions can be a lonely road. Letting your light shine is when you generate power. and that will always radiate electricity, not static. Take time to be Thankful for everything that you have, and strive to Live Every Day That you live!!
