Whitney Houston is the new Billie Holiday!
Superstar Whitney Houston is a modern day Billie Holiday. Houston has battled substance abuse and booze for years, and for a while America felt it was her then hubby bad boy Bobby Brown, but now it's clear to see that it's all Houston. The singer has recently checked herself into rehab, but she still isn't really addressing her demons, she needs and IN house rehab and not a come and go as you please rehab facility. Houston we can only root for you for so long, but the real cheering squad has to come from within, do you really want to conquer your demons OR not? Get it together Whitney, remember celebrity life is charmed and privilege, if you don't want the masses cheering you on, there's always someone else deserving waiting in the wings.

FINALLY kevin you went hard at your girl Whitney. You hit the nail on the head, she definitely needs to get her shit together, she old and dirt now, it's time to grow up. Now it makes sense why her daughter Bobbi Kris is out of control.

i have full faith in her. god will deliver her from this addiction. though disappointed to hear this news, i'm actually not that surprised as it is extremely and ridiculously difficult to overcome an addiction.
ReplyDeleteThe people who will fuck you over are the people you think are your friends - they will get you addicted because they know u have the money and they will ride your coat tails and you'd be too friggin stoned to know or care about it. Whitney got fucked over and because its crack she will NEVER recover from it. She's a write off. Bye Whitney!! I'd shoot myself personally then be a constant embarrassment to myself.
ReplyDeleteCome on Whitney you can beat this!!!! Enough is enough!!! You have so many ppl rooting you on dnt lets us dwn
ReplyDeleteI am amazed how we Glory over the wrong of others and wound our own. It's not the fact of what Bobby and Whitney went through. It's the fact they went through it and moved on. It's not for us to judge her or her decision of rehab. We all have been in rehab for something; it may not be drugs but it could be a relationship, food etc. Try not to wound our own. Try and pray for them. I'm excited for Whitney and I'm hurt for her too. It appears that everyone wants to throw a stone about her life

love you Whitney..from a huge fan in London..You keep crying out for help and to God and to others whom care, you are not alone xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt's so sad that drugs and alcohol are getting in the way of such talent
ReplyDeletethere is never going to be any honour bestowed on her for kicking an illegal habit. Kicking a habit that cost the lives of many people who handled this drug across borders..innocent people who died in drive-by's etc. I'm sorry, but people who stuff their faces with food are not in the same league as Whitney. Its not about her - her life is over, ok? You do NOT recover from crack addiction PERIOD. I feel sorry for the innocent people who died in the cross fire because of her.

Kevin you have a way with words, I couldnt agree with you more, Whitney is a the new Billie Holiday, why didn't I think of that tag line. Your girl needs to get it together, I would hate to see her end up like Holiday.

ReplyDeleteI'll forever love Whitney Houston, but as a journalism communicator, I must and will always keep it 100. Today Houston took a giant leap forward by acknowledging that she needed more than a 30 stint in out paitent rehab, she has now hired a 24 hour life coach, to keep her on the straight and narrow. Bravo Ms. Houston.
