Remembering - The day after Christmas, will always leave a bad taste in my mouth, it was the day that one of my favorite artists, transitioned. Growing up in Venice, California, a melting pot of races. Teena Marie was a culturally aware human being, who always saw the world as it should be, without color lines. She was authentic in her pursuits and passionate about the music she loved. Her untimely death is still a very hard pill to swallow.
