The Pointer Sisters history is legendary. Four Sisters from Oakland, Ca who chased their dreams, all the way to stardom, achieving mainstream success during the 1970s and 1980s. Spanning over four decades, their repertoire has included such diverse genres as pop, disco, jazz, electronic music, bebop, blues, soul, funk, dance, country and rock. Winning 3 Grammys, one in the Country category for their song ‘Fairytales.
Today news came down, that Bonnie has now joined sister June in Heavens glory, leaving behind sisters Anita and Ruth to mourn their loss. RIP Bonnie Pointer.
