The 'struggle' of an 'Indy' artist,,is to know their core audience and to grow a following from there. Music Is Universal and can unite cultures. Today my musical selection piece 'showcases' and up and coming artist named 'Idara' who is a diverse artist who describes her music as "Popular-Soul". A UCLA graduate and professional singer who has been writing her own songs and playing piano since childhood. Idara is ready to share her gift and her craft, with the world, as she presents, her debut album "Spirits and Souls", taking the listener on a musical journey, her instrument transcends color lines, and strips down to a natural vulnerability, that most new artists are afraid to reveal. Her songs ask only that you open your heart, and your ears...and simply "enjoy".

The vocals are worthy, but the songs and production could be better. Also a video might help.
