Stevie Wonder, Jose Feliciano and Dianne Schuur could all see that you were gay. No reason to do a press release Adam Lambert. The world knew, maybe you're the only one who was clueless. Perhaps the opportunity to be Queen's lead singer was 'outing' enough. Save the ink for some really worthy news.
Honestly, this time I don't think Adam Lambert was trying to hide the fact he is gay. i think the networks were pressuring him to make some bold announcement. I don't think it's any secret to anyone he's gay, but I also don't think it's anyone's business and he has to the right to declare or not disclose his preference. I don't know much about him and I certainly don't watch American Idol, but so far from what I've seen I like that he's comfortable in his own skin.
