This performance is true present day soul. John Legend is his own ways channels a modern day Otis Redding. Current day performers rarely can bring it LIVE. I appreciate this performance of "Save Room" because it sends a message that true music with lyrics is alive and well. It's a timeless piece from the musicians to the on point background singers to John himself delivery the goods. I LOVE IT!!!
John is Legendary this is a great song, would sound better sung by another artist, but I think he's soulful, but soungs clogged most times in his performance. Imagine if Luther, Rahsaan Patterson, Kenny Lattimore or Brian McKnight singing this song. Puts its in a entirely different league. Just my opinion. Asia
