Classic Movies -- Classic Movie Lines ...

The Way We Were starring Robert Redford and Barbara Streisand, is a movie that deals with love, politics and heartbreak.  The couple met in college and couldn't be more different, he was popular, good looking, an author, a ladies man with well connected Hollywood contacts, she was average looking, smart, politically driven rebel always fighting some cause and socially challenged.  They met and in spite of all their differences, they fell in love became parents, loved hard and fought hard.  This is one of my all time favorite movies.  Here's a few of my favorite lines ...

Katie:  You'll never find someone who loves you and believes in you as much as I do,
Huble: I know,
Katie:  then why,
Huble: you make it so hard.
Katie:  I can change ..

  4. My favorite singer and actor together...Barbra is the top of the line in music...so sensual and so perfect....Robert is great eye candy.....opposites attract and friction is created no matter how much love there is in the relationship...it is never enough.

  9. The hardest song in the world to hear when you have regrets about your life. Most likely all of us feel it was written JUST FOR US at one point.
This will always be my "go to" song when I "need to cry."
Of, and of course, NO ONE CAN EVER SING THIS SONG LIKE BARBRA CAN!!!
