Newtown Victims -- We Remember You

This story breaks your heart time and time again. Every day I've watched coverage on the funerals of the little children, I cry and get angry daily, so hard for their loved ones.  Innocent children and adult victims who were kill in this senseless killing.  It's time for gun laws to become tougher, background criminal checks should be a prerequisite to apply for guns if then, should they even be allowed.  I am all for gun control in our country. It's boggles my brain, a simple thing like dropping your child off to school every morning to get an education, only to never return home .... I can't.  Teachers arent paid enough in this country to begin with,  the level of respect and bravery that the teachers and principle showed has to be commended, and it truly shines a bright light on just how special teachers are in this country.  This madness has to stop.  Journalist continue to try to rationalize why this happened, who gives a damn, IT SHOULD NOT HAPPEN!

Newtown we will never forget you, and I hope that your families can begin to heal, and my hopes that the love that the world is showing you is helping to heal your forever broken hearts.

  1. The exploitation of the deaths of innocents, the trauma of the survivors, the grief of the families, and the horror of the nation for ratings and profits by these mega-corporations has gone on for too long.

  2. We would all stand a better chance of getting along if it were not for the mechanics of the GOP and Democratic parties always pushing to the extremes of right or left.

  3. Parents buy shooting games for the kids for xmas or birthday's. It's a bit much really. Parent's are giving their children the "wrong idea" when it comes to these types of video games. Parent's should be able to find something else to give to their children to do, something constructive. Everyone talks about gun laws, but what gun laws are there in video games, kids shooting ak47's,m16's, rocket launchers, throwing grenades. Its over the top. Everyone wants the government to do something, I say it's up to the parents, their your kids, not the governments. It's the parents responsibility to guide their children down the RIGHT path of life and give them direction, not give them a 60 dollar game and tell em go have some fun. Ridiculous

  7. Hey Kevin, I stumbled across your blog, and you're one of the few who said it best. I live in Sandy Hook and am disgusted by the way the media are continuing to exploit our town. They are parked outside our funeral home awaiting grieving families. I have to attend a visitation for a victim 2 towns away, so they can avoid these horrible people. They are pushy and overwhelming and are keeping our town from any attempt at regaining normalcy. We can't even go to the grocery store without being hounded by them....if everyone cares about our town and these families they will help ask the mass-media to leave!

  8. I sat down and talked to my son and daughter (9 & 10)about the shooting at Sandy Hook.... My daughter broke down in tears and decided to write them a letter... after she wrote it she said: "Mom, I bet those kids never thought their future would be something like this. I don't know what my future is going to be like. But I hope it's not like that." How do you explain that these things just don't happen,...

They aren't really gone but in a better world. they'll be in ur dreamz over time. And cherish all the moments you had with the little ones.

  12. Protection begins in the home, it's not about gun control, it's about what we're teaching our children. My heart goes out to the little babies and the parents, a senseless act yes. I can't help but wonder what the shooter parents taught him.
Praying for Newtown and kids everyone.
