Command Performance

"Somewhere Over The Rainbow" is a song that most Americans are familiar with.  It's a comfort food for the soul, it's ties us to the movie 'The Wizard of Oz'.  It's traditional, and reassuring with a sense of hope that all things are possible.  The song has been sung at least a million times, when a singer covers this classic, it can either be really good or very bad.  On rare occasion can someone bring something extra to a 'classic', on Monday night I witnessed a rare feet singer Nicholas David took me to the Heavens without leaving the earth, with his rendition. It was heartfelt, genuine, tender, timeless and sincere.  What I saw on that stage was an artist who God was truly using to decipher an incredible capsule in time. Great job Nicholas.  Sit back and listen to a real musical moment. Enjoy~

  4. Im a fan of the voice and Nicholas voice is shockingly good. He looks one way then, he opens up his instrument, and you forget his appearance and get lost in his singing, which is a breath of fresh aire.
