Tim McGraw and Scott McCreery singing "Live Like You Were Dying" on American Idol was a great moment in Americana history. In a time when our nation is in mourning, I think this song is so appropriate. This song drives home about appreciating the moment of 'now' because you never really know. Enjoy~
bless you young man....you are a miracle with your love for people and music.

ReplyDeleteTIMELY kevin, I appreciate your selection this morning.
ReplyDeleteIn tears I lost my father three weeks ago, I set with a lot of regret, which I can't really talk about with anyone. Your selection really hits home today in a good way.

ReplyDeleteThis song is so wonderful, I played it for my grandmother who lost her husband last year to prostrate cancer, and she laughed and cried and hugged me. she said that I gave her the best christmas present ever, cuz the song took her to memories of she and my grandmother. Thank you Kevin for helping to make my grand ma smile.

Command Performance is always my favorite on your blog. You take us on such a illustruous journey musically and it's never the same piece twice.
