LOS ANGELES — The King of Pop's estate has signed the biggest recording deal in history: a $200 million guaranteed contract with Sony Music Entertainment for 10 projects over seven years, according to a person familiar with the deal.
The record-breaking contract through 2017 could be worth up to $250 million if certain conditions are met. One of the albums will be of never-before-released Jackson recordings that will come out in November.
Actress Gabourey Sidibe, who was the focus of what are calling a racist rant by shock jock Howard Stern on Monday, has landed a movie role and proved him wrong.
Written and directed by Victoria Mahoney, the description of “Yelling To The Sky” is this:
“In a depraved New York neighborhood, the youngest of three mixed-race sisters named Sweetness O’Hara, spends the better part of being seventeen navigating an identity between the known: a violent life of crime, and the unknown: a life of purpose and meaning. Not Tiger Woods nor Bob Johnson, on Momma O - Oprah Winfrey was the only African American to make the Forbes list of 1,011 billionaires. The 56-year-old Winfrey was number 400 on the list with wealth estimated at $2.4 billion – down by $300 million from a May 2009 Forbes estimate of $2.7 billion.
Speaking of Tiger Woods, he will make his return to Golf in April. We knew it was just a matter of time, first the press conference, then his wifey takes him back, and now his return to Golf. Tiger is a pimp, and I like it!!! His brand just got so much more interesting. Good for you Tiger.
